I have found my Heroins look a like! She is the beautiful Orla Brady, and she's the one. Now, just to find my hero.
Writing aptitude tests.
I received one in the email yesterday, again. This time I looked at it and I sent of for it, and info on the course. It can't hurt to check them out. Do you think these are all just scams? When I get more info, I will share it here and we'll see what everyone thinks.
Anyway, good luck with your writing, I hope you are all granted the quiet time you need to slip away into your own worlds. Check out other ROW80 participants progress.
That counts as getting to know your character, methinks. I would love to find people who look like my idea of my characters. Good luck to you too!
ReplyDeleteThe writing aptitude test, is it with Long Ridge Writers Group or Institute of Children’s Literature? If so, both are wonderful, though overpriced courses. Writer's Digest also has quality courses.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, sounds like you are making your goals work. Here's to another great week!
I love the idea of using the photos of characters. I found one that kind of resembles the girls in my Board Game story.
ReplyDeleteI also found the perfect photo of Ruby Angel.
Good luck with the online courses. I have thought of doing this in the past too, but never got around to it.
I also look for online photos of my fictional characters. Additionally, I look for photos of their houses and other significant possessions. I guess I'm a visual person. lol
ReplyDeleteBest of luck with ROW80!
She is gorgeous! I put all my images and notes on characters in a scrivener file so I don't lose them. I hope you're rockin' ROW80!
ReplyDeleteI have the First Draft in 30 Days book myself. I read through it and thought it was great, but the system just doesn't work for me. I tend to work better without all the advance planning.
ReplyDeleteI also use pictures for my characters and my settings. They really help me focus when I write.
Good luck with ROW80! I know I'm having a blast!
She is beautiful...and hope you have fun searching for your hero.
ReplyDeleteI've tried First Draft. It was good for me to scribble stuff down, but when it came to writing the story, I didn't look at the notes again.
Good luck with ROW80 :D
