Now can ANYONE help me choose some REALLY scary books. Please.  I'm not wanting R.L. Stine "scary", I'm wanting sleeping with the lights on scary. (No attack on Stine, he's been a favorite in our household since the girls were very young.)

  2. The only author who's ever frightened me was H.P. Lovecraft. Stephen King never came close. Although Lovecraft's stories are somewhat of an acquired taste, if you understand what he means, he can scare anybody. :)
